Le Centre interdisciplinaire de développement en cartographie des océans (CIDCO) est un organisme de R&D en géomatique marine et en hydrospatiale qui travaille à la mise en valeur des technologies d’acquisition, de gestion et de représentation graphique de données spatiales marines.
Le CIDCO est un organisme sans but lucratif (créé en 2002) à l’avant garde des sciences de la mer, de l’hydrographie et de l’hydrospatiale, qui répond aux besoins en R&D des institutions et de l’industrie.
L’organisme est l’un des seuls centres de recherche et de formation dédié à la géomatique marine et l’hydrospatiale dans le monde. Son équipe d’experts forme régulièrement des hydrographes et des spécialistes en hydrospatiales de partout dans le monde à sa formation Cat-B. Nous développons aussi nos produits afin de faciliter l’acquisition et l’interprétation des données sous-marines avec des collaborateurs et partenaires commerciaux : HydroBall, HydroBlock, HydroTom, OpenSideScan, etc.
Dédié à la mise en valeur des technologies et connaissances de pointe pour l’acquisition, la gestion et la représentation de données spatiales maritimes, le CIDCO répond aux besoins internationaux, nationaux et régionaux en formation et R&D de la communauté côtière et maritime. L’organisme est un membre actif du Canadian Coastal Ocean Mapping Research & Education Network (COMREN) et est un partenaire de choix.

The Interdisciplinary Ocean Mapping Development Center (CIDCO) is a marine geomatics and hydrospatial R&D organization that works to enhance marine spatial data acquisition, management, and graphics technologies.
CIDCO is a non-profit organization (established in 2002) at the forefront of marine, hydrographic and hydrospatial sciences, serving the R&D needs of institutions and industry.
The organization is one of the only research and training centers dedicated to marine geomatics and hydrospace in the world. Its team of experts regularly trains hydrographers and hydrospatial specialists from around the world in its Cat-B training. We also develop our products to facilitate the acquisition and interpretation of underwater data with collaborators and commercial partners: HydroBall, HydroBlock, HydroTom, OpenSideScan, etc.
Dedicated to the development of advanced technologies and knowledge for the acquisition, management and representation of maritime spatial data, CIDCO addresses the international, national and regional training and R&D needs of the coastal and maritime community. The organization is an active member of the Canadian Coastal Ocean Mapping Research & Education Network (COMREN) and is a partner of choice.
